My Music

A solo and collaborative performance with my friend Dr. Oliver Lo, Director of Opera and Music Theater at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The program features music of Bach, Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, Brahms, Florence Price, and Ricky Ian Gordon.

This solo recital was given at the 2021 Lancaster International Piano Festival features J. S. Bach’s Partitas Nos. 1, 2 & 4.

I premiered American composer Nancy Galbraith’s Sonata No. 2 for piano, which was commissioned by the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association for their conference in 2017.

In the 2022 version of the Lancaster International Festival, three piano faculties performed three different chamber pieces with the Gabriel Chamber Ensemble. I played Mendelssohn’s D-Minor Piano Trio, Op. 49 starting at 39:11.

This is a studio recording of Cesar Franck’s Prelude, Chorale, and Fugue. I recorded it during my sabbatical semester. A great piece that I always love.

When V. Horowitz’s piano was on tour, I had this opportunity to play Scriabin’s C-sharp Minor Etude, Op. 2 No. 1 on Horowitz’s instrument.

This is a performance of F. Schubert’s 4 Impromptus D. 935 at the music academy in Trappe, PA. The intimate setting and the Steinway A were perfect for these pieces.

This is a faculty recital in 2021 at LVC where I also played Bach’s Partitas Ns. 1, 2 & 4.
